For three generations, our family has lived and worked around carpets.
Our story traces back to Mesopotamia, a region where rugs have been woven, traded, cared for, and passed from one generation to the next for centuries. What began as a family tradition in the carpet trade became something much bigger: a deep understanding of craftsmanship, materials, construction, and the care these pieces deserve.
That knowledge eventually made its way to Montreal, where we continued the tradition and built Soho around the same respect for quality and workmanship.
Today, our work has evolved beyond helping people find beautiful rugs. We help them protect, clean, repair, and restore the carpets they already love.
Because to us, a rug is rarely just something on the floor.
It can be a piece of craftsmanship.

At Soho, that means taking the time to understand what each rug needs, keeping customers informed throughout the process, and making everything — from pickup to cleaning and delivery — as easy as possible.
It's a personal approach that customers notice. Sammy stays closely involved throughout the experience, helping coordinate each job and making sure clients know their carpets are in good hands.
